What you pay, and when
| To form it | $125.00, once. Louisiana's fees went up on October 1, 2026 under Act 921 of the 2026 session. Articles of Organization were $100 until September 30 and are $125 from October 1; the yearly report went from $30 to $35 on the same day. If you are reading this in the last days of September, the old numbers still apply. |
| Every year after | $35.00. Due on or before the anniversary of the day your LLC was organized — that is the statute's wording, so it is your own date rather than a statewide one. You still file it in a year when nothing has changed; Louisiana says so explicitly. |
| If you miss it | No fee at first. You get a Notice of Intent to Revoke and 30 days to file, and if you do not, the charter is revoked. Reinstating after that costs, in the state's own words, significantly more than an annual report would have. |
| Registered agent | Required, and the address on the annual report cannot be a post office box only — that applies to the registered office, the agent, and every manager or member listed. |
Do it yourself
You file this directly with the state. There is nobody in the middle who has to be paid to do it, and nothing on this page is a Base888 charge — the fees above are paid to Louisiana.
