Every addition and every correction, dated. Twice a week, Tuesday and Friday.

Stale content is the most common complaint about paid communities. Rather than hope you do not notice, this page makes it checkable — including the times we got something wrong and fixed it.

New: the Use AI Path

Three steps on using AI for money and work without getting caught out. It starts with translation rather than advice — have it explain a document you already signed, with your details stripped out and every claim quoted so you can check it against the original.

Updated

Updated: Money Basics is finished

The payoff step refuses to declare a winner between highest-rate-first and smallest-balance-first, because the better order is the one you are still doing in six months and the difference is usually smaller than the argument about it.

What changed: Three steps added: picking a debt payoff order, stopping bank fees, and automating the part you forget.

Updated

Updated: the Credit Path is finished

The Credit Path now runs end to end and stays free. The last step is the one the rest of it exists for — accurate information cannot be removed by anybody at any price, and every credit repair pitch depends on people not knowing that.

What changed: Four steps added: lowering what your cards report, starting a file from nothing, freezing your credit at all three bureaus, and what nobody can legally remove.

New

Ask Base answers from what we have written, and says when we have not

Ask a question in plain words. Every answer comes with the step it came from and the date somebody last checked that step — and when there is nothing to point at, it says so rather than filling the gap. Those questions go on the list of what to write next.

New

Reality Check: paste any pitch, get the honest version

Paste an offer, a DM or an ad and get back what it actually is, what the catch is, and what the free version of the same thing looks like. It describes patterns and never names a person or a company, and five topics get a written answer rather than a generated one.

New

Every state but one, checked against its own fee schedule

Filing fees, annual report rules, late penalties and registered agent requirements for 49 states, each taken from that state’s own fee schedule or statute rather than from another blog. New Mexico is the one still missing, because no New Mexico government page states the answer and we would rather leave it blank than guess.
